I used the thinning scissors to trim the entire body's hair of my 2 year old golden retriever because of summers. I tried using trimmer but it did not work; That's where thinning scissors came to save. Took me 6 hours to do it but i suppose it's fair considering how much hair he had and it was my first time doing it. I shortened his hair and did not make him bald. End result: he looked great. Both scissors were sharp enough. They weren't stucking. And my boi looks amazing even with short hair. Now he has a round butt that looks smooth and does not consist of straight lines that i would have gotten if i had used trimmer. And the best part is that these were affordable. I'm happy with the product. If it worked on my dog (he had really long hair in some places), it will work on any dog.2 years ago
